Interdisciplinary Scientific Competence Network: Radicalisation Prevention (Interdisziplinäres Wissenschaftliches Kompetenznetzwerk Radikalisierungsprävention)

A network providing a neutral platform for dynamic exchange and controversial debate between experts working in different fields on PVE/CVE issues. The network mainly organises thematic workshops on a regular basis that are normally linked to subjects the sciences have been working on and first-line experiences from practitioners. The network is hosted at Denkzeit Gesellschaft, a CSO working mainly on countering violence among young people, juvenile delinquency and behavioural problems among adolescents, and receives funding from state entities.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Network Extremism (DNE) (Diagnostisch-Therapeutisches Netzwerk Extremismus)

The Diagnostisch-therapeutische Netzwerk Extremismus (DNE)-project offers psychological assistance to both the specialists of the EXIT- and HAYAT Germany and the families and relatives of extremist radicals as well as to people willing to leave extremist groups and movements. The project's work is funded under the "Demokratie Leben“-programme of German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth.

Federal Working Group (BAG) of the regional employment agencies (RAA) (Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft (BAG) der Regionalen Arbeitsstellen (RAA))

The Bundesarbeitsgemeinschaft (BAG) is the umbrella network of the regional offices (Regionale Arbeitsstellen, RAA) for supporting children and adolescents from immigrant families and for fostering education, integration and democracy. BAG acts as a hub for knowledge transfer, the development of a joint strategy, vision, and work profile, capacity building for experts, and scientific accompaniment of the RAAs' different projects. There currently exist 65 RAAs in 7 federal states across Germany, which are usually funded by both private and state donations.

The EXIT Action Circle or Action Circle of Former Extremists (EXIT Aktionskreis or AKTIONSKREIS Ehemaliger Extremisten, AK-exit) is a civil society association founded by former followers of radical ideologies and religious fundamentalisms. Its members support local PVE/CVE initiatives and projects by sharing their personal stories in workshops, seminars and lectures, and also directly address current extremists by overtly confronting them with the context, ideas and theories that lie behind their radical worldviews and by offering counter-narratives. The EXIT Action Circle is a project run by EXIT Germany.
