Art-based methods can facilitate self-expression of students, be more inclusive, and produce more meaningful results for research. they are thought to be able to overcome communication issues and allow shy and introverse student to find a new space of self-exploration. However, they can be difficult to implement and require high levels of effort and roganisation of teachers and researchers
