Gesicht Zeigen! Für ein weltoffenes Deutschland is a civil society organisation whose main work focuses on running public campaigns that aim at strengthening civil courage and developing projects that support tolerance and reduce prejudices in German society. One of its projects trains young peer multipliers in PVE work with a particular focus on Islamist radicalisation. KIgA is funded by both private and state donations.

Association of Counseling Centers for Victims of Right, Racist and Anti-Semitic Violence (VBRG) (Verband der Beratungsstellen für Betroffene rechter, rassistischer und antisemitischer Gewalt)

The Verband der Beratungsstellen für Betroffene rechter, rassistischer und antisemitischer Gewalt (VBRG) is the umbrella organisation of CSO advice centres and counselling services for victims of right-wing, racist and antisemitic violence. Its work focuses on promoting common minimum quality standard in counselling services for victims, their relatives and witnesses of acts of racist, right-wing or antisemitic violence. The consortium currently has 13 members and is funded by both private and state donations.

180 Degrees Turn (Grad Wende)

180 Degrees Turn (180 Grad Wende) is an independent non-partisan NGO based in Cologne. It provides mainly educational and counselling services for young people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds, with several projects focusing particularly on PVE through training of peer multipliers in mediation, pastoring, and anger management. 180 Degrees Turn receives funding from state entities.

Anne Frank Centre (The Anne Frank Zentrum)

The Anne Frank Zentrum is the German partner organisation of the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam. The Centre reminds visitors of Anne Frank and her diary with exhibitions and an array of educational programs. It facilitates learning opportunities in which children and young people can examine the history and link it to the world in which they live today. It also supports and trains adolescents as peer multipliers to stand up and fight against all forms of antisemitism. The Anne Frank Zentrum is funded by private, civil society and state donations from German and European entities.

Youth Migrant Services (JMD) (Jugendmigrationsdienste)

The so-called Youth Migrant Services (Jugendmigrationsdienste, JMD) are CSO-run programmes, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, that support young people from immigrant families with their integration through individual counselling, capacity building, and networking. There are currently 22 JMD offices across Germany. Several offices run projects involving social workers who help youngsters build resilience against Islamist narratives and offer vocational perspectives for those at risk.

European Foundation for Democracy

Established in 2005, the European Foundation for Democracy is a policy institute that works with civil society, academic, government and other stakeholders on the prevention of radicalisation. It addresses all forms of radicalisation which can lead to violent extremism regardless of the political or religious ideology that may drive them. Specifically, it supports initiatives to strengthen the resilience of communities in different countries by empowering credible pro-democratic voices to prevent radicalisation from gaining a foothold.

Centre of Expertise and Advice for Prevention and Intervention of Radicalism and Extremism (CEAPIRE)

Ceapire offers direct answers and practical solutions to questions relating to radicalism and extremism for all persons asking, may it be a public or a private person. It is specialised in all matters concerning Islam, radicalism, extremism, cultural diversity, integration and citizenship. Ceapire organises training for different types of stakeholders in radicalisation-related issues.
