The related methodology is aimed at underlining the importance of not rejecting a student’s world view, even though some statements may be shocking for teachers who hold a very different view. Rejection can be counter-productive and an obstacle to a good relationship that could facilitare a further dialogue. At the same time, the methodology recognises the need to set clear limits and boundaries that cannot be overcome.
