Key findings
Brainstorming can help address specific questions or problems on radicalisation and extremism by encouraging a free flow of ideas. The goal is to generate a large quantity of data by welcoming all ideas. There are no “bad” ideas and a long list will ideally generate more opportunities to identify a quality solution. It helps avoid biases and welcome different points of view. However, it risks being too disorganised and promote more groupthinking than individual original ones.
